NFF Executive Board Set To Meet Over Chelle

The executive committee of the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF), will on Tuesday 27th, January, hold it’s board meeting at his Sunday Dankaro Secretariat, Abuja to deliberate and evaluate the performance of the Super Eagles at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) in Morocco.

Other matters that will be on the meeting agenda is the extension of contract for Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle, who has gained support from stakeholders and the media, sportsunlimited reports.

They will also appraise the preparations and participation of the Nigeria Senior National women team Super Falcons at 2027 FIFA women’s World Cup ticket, at the 14th women Africa Cup of Nations schedule for Morocco, 17th March – 3rd April 2026.

They will also discuss the proposed enlarged Congress slated for April in Abuja ahead of the September elective congress.

The Super Eagles finished third and won bronze at the 2025 AFCON, staged in Morocco.
